Nigerian Electricity Health and Safety Code

The Nigerian Electricity Health and Safety Code aims to save lives. Every employer in the power sector must ensure a safe work environment for all employees, whether regular or not. Contractors working at distribution, transmission and power stations are also required to follow the best practices and safety standards set out in the Code. This code is enforced by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission
